Bioenergy and environmental technology

Bioenergy is increasingly used as an alternative to fossil fuels. It preserves natural resources and helps to reduce harmful emissions. However, before biomass (e.g. wood, straw, maize, rapeseed or biogenic waste) can be used as fuel, electricity or heat it must be converted using a succession of different technologies.

The latest insulation systems from KAEFER offer enormous potential for reducing the amount of resources and energy expended in this process, which in turn benefits the environment.
Our insulation systems have a faster payback time than other environmentally sound investments, which is another reason why they are being deployed more and more in biodiesel and biogas plants as well as in biomass power stations.

By insulating pipework, appliances, storage vessels, equipment and tanks, we make a significant contribution to keeping the energy consumption of the entire plant as low as possible.
